Biography-Karen Jean Epps
Karen has a BS in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University. She also has a Masters in Information and Learning Technology from University of Colorado, Denver. Her endorsements include library and technology education K-12. Experience as a writing consultant, attending classes, writing conferences, and radio interviews make her a better writer. Karen earned the Gold Apple Award for excellence in teaching. Also won the Highly Effective School Library Program Award by the Colorado Department of Education. She enjoys reading, quilting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking.
Biography-Claire Rachel Magthas
Claire has a BA in Elementary Education and a Masters in Special Education. Her specialty is in learning and emotional disabilities K-12 from University of New Orleans, Louisiana (UNO). She also attended the University of Innsbruck, Austria in education and continued her studies in administration. Writing conferences and classes contribute to her writing success along with radio interviews. Claire enjoys hiking in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. She is a sensei in Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging.
