Teacher You Have Been Given the Gift of Teaching

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
James 3:1-2 (NIV)

Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
James 3:1-2 (NIV)

Teacher, you know your job is not easy, but you have been called and given the gift of educating and not everyone can teach. How does one ignite the love of learning in a child? God has given you the wisdom, responsibility, and knowledge to train students in the love of learning, which you in turn model for your students every day.

To know wisdom and instruction; to discern the words of understanding; to receive the instruction of wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the young man.

Proverbs 1:2-4 (WEB)

Your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed! Although not all of us can teach Bible principles directly, we can all model and teach them indirectly. Reading and reflecting on these scriptures leads to stronger faith and love that comes through in your teaching. Therefore, it effortlessly becomes the fruit of your spirit. Our work is taken seriously, for we work directly for God. We are His instrument where He works through us to impart knowledge, wisdom, and graciousness to our students and school community.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6 ESV

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (WEB)

Finally, our focus is on our students’ achievement and well-being. We commend all teachers for their tireless efforts in these areas. We salute you! We want you to be encouraged and inspired daily through the scriptures we provide to do your best and maintain harmony, peace, and balance in your life. Take the time to renew your spirit and reframe your thinking into a positive enlightened state thereby drawing energy to boost vitality that sustains you through the day. This is achieved by focusing on the scripture, using confirmation statements, envisioning and expressing your peace, and faith of believing and receiving your desires. Give it a try, it has been proven to work! Finally, take the time to write your gratitude and thanksgiving in your journal.

Amen!
